Report cover for Danish Board of Technology

Danish, graphics

The brief was to develop a simple new cover for the Danish Board of Technology whilst maintaining all the existing elements. In the illustration you can see the process from original through several iterations, and finally the submitted design proposal. I found it important to play with the meaning of ‘World Wide Views’ and combine this with the topic of climate and energy, while staying close to the original (somewhat generic) logo for the project.

Creative viral campaign for fictive client. The viral campaign also included flash animated web banners and posters with QR codes strategically placed on campus. Even though the campaign was part of a university project, it got lots of hits and surpassed my most optimistic expectations – I was even contacted by local media enquiring about the (made up) facts mentioned, and whether they could do a story on the poor suffering students – based on this I will deem the campaign a success!

Hjemby Aalborg

Hjemby Aalborg (hometown Aalborg) is a university project developed in cooperation with the local tourism authority. They requested proposals for ways to maximize income from their agreement with a leading online travel portal. The result was a suggestion for a campaign to stimulate local businesses to also use the authority’s website for booking hotels for out-of-town stays. The resulting 5% commission would be put back into the local community through a fund.

The project consists of an animated video explaining the broad lines of the concept, and printed direct marketing materials and a communication plan.

The materials can be seen here: (opens in new window)

Animated video

Respekt! is a concept based around sustainability and the reduction of food waste created as part of my studies and to a brief by a leading Danish supermarket chain. The concept consists of various printed advertising materials and a video explaining the concept (Danish only). I animated the video in Flash using sketches on cardboard to achieve a rustic look – communicating that this is still the development/concept phase of the project. Based on the campaign and research an academic report was submitted.

On both video and some of the suggestions for printed material are available to view (opens in new window).
